AI Podcasts are famous; thanks Google!
Hi Wondercrafters,
1. New AI Podcast Generator?
In case you missed it, Google’s NotebookLM now lets you listen to conversations about your sources with impressive voice quality, banter, and attention to detail. However, Google's tool is designed for consuming audio, not for producing it, as users can't edit the autogenerated content. Still, it's great to see Google pushing AI-powered podcasting into the mainstream.
About a month ago, we had our first Wondercraft user visit our London HQ, and since then, a few more have stopped by. We loved every moment of it! Our door is always open. Speaking of growth, we've now reached 50,000 users on Wondercraft—an incredible milestone! If you're reading this, reply, and I might have a special gift to celebrate with you.
3. This Company Just Spent $6.4M on Podcast Ads in ONE Month
What's wild? That $6.4M is actually down from the previous month, when they spent $7M. If you listen to podcasts, you've probably heard of BetterHelp—they advertise everywhere! A case study on their results would be fascinating because they've been doing this for years, so it must be working.
I’m so pumped for Q4 at Wondercraft. Expect some major product releases and partnership announcements. It’s going to be Epic!
5. Spotify, YouTube, and Meta Are All Making Moves
Big news this week from the major players in the creator space. Meta is developing AI to dub all Instagram videos, YouTube introduced the Hype feature to help promote new creators, and Spotify is launching a Creator Fund, similar to TikTok's. What a time to be creating content!
Christoph Becker shares his personal journey, from dropping out of engineering school, writing perfect Helvetica fonts by hand, his time in New York during 9/11 and leading Whalar Group’s innovative creator-first ecosystem. I just loved this episode. Christoph you are a legend.
7. Closing with a Wonderful quote
Stay creative,
